GRADIENT SUPPORTS NHS COVID-19 CRITICAL CARE INITIATIVE - Gradient UK

Gradient is supporting the effort to provide urgent NHS healthcare facilities during the current coronavirus crisis.

Its single-layer tapered roof insulation systems are being used as part of a series of modular-built treatment isolation units, which are under construction across the UK. Once complete, these facilities will provide critical care for Covid-19 patients.

The Covid-19 crisis is affecting everyone, but it has highlighted the dedication, ingenuity and willingness of companies and individuals to step-up in times of need. The off-site construction of critical care units, which provide a much-needed NHS care resource, provides an example of that support.

Laura Sockett, Business Unit Manager at Gradient said: “We were happy to provide our materials and expertise to ensure the rapid, effective delivery of the critical care units. They are essential to enabling frontline NHS staff provide the best possible care for Covid-19 patients at this difficult time. Indeed, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in the health and care industry who continue to risk their own wellbeing in order to treat others.”

“We would also like to thank the construction personnel who have been set the huge task of designing and building the isolation units in the shortest-possible time. We are extremely pleased to be part of the supply chain that is facilitating their effective delivery.”
