Gradient New Business Manager welcomes ‘exciting’ new challenge.
Leading single-layer tapered roofing supplier, Gradient, has appointed a new Business Manager to run its UK manufacturing and technical centre.
Laura Sockett, who will be based at Gradient’s site in Burntwood, Staffordshire, said she was delighted with her new role. “Being appointed Business Manager at Gradient is hugely exciting and represents a major step forward in my career,” she said. “Gradient has built a huge reputation in the insulation industry for its quality and innovation over the years and has a fantastic team dedicated to providing the very best in customer solutions and service. I’m looking forward to being able to bring my skills and experience to the team and help lead Gradient in building on its success.”
Laura possesses the requisite experience for the Business Manager’s position, having spent 12 years working for SIG Distribution in a variety of senior commercial roles. Her qualifications include a BSc (Hons) degree in science from the University of Sheffield and a postgraduate diploma in Business Management from Sheffield Hallam University. She is also an affiliate member of CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply). Laura’s approach to management is described as ‘collaborative and positive’.
